Why Am I Still Stuck?

This Sunday's EmpowHER training with Identity & Execution Coach Arsineo Dodson challenged us to rethink what it really means to be stuck. Many of us assume our problem is a lack of information—we need another book, another podcast, another class, another strategy. But Arsineo suggested something deeper: most of us already know far more than we're practicing. The issue isn't always knowledge. Sometimes it's the gap between what we know and the identity we're living from.

Through powerful coaching and real-time conversations with members, we explored how fear, people-pleasing, overthinking, procrastination, and even our desire to help others can quietly keep us trapped. One of the most impactful insights was that we will often do more for others than we are willing to do for ourselves. The question became: What version of ourselves have we been practicing, and is it aligned with the woman God is calling us to become?

Rather than focusing on quick fixes, Arsineo challenged us to identify the hidden beliefs and patterns that keep us cycling through the same frustrations year after year. The conversation left many of us reflecting on a simple but powerful question: If the woman God is calling me to become were making decisions today, what would she do next? It was a thought-provoking and transformational session that left us with practical next steps—and a desire for more conversations like this in the future.
