✨ Inside the PRAYING Sistas Community This Week

Every week, we grow together through purpose, prayer, accountability, and sisterhood. Here’s what our members are doing this week:

Week 1: Belief

One of the questions we explored during this week’s Morning Charge was simple but powerful: Have you ever doubted God? Most of us would say yes. But what if doubt is not really the absence of belief? What if the real issue is that we are believing something else? When God says, “I am with you,” but we believe, “I am alone,” we are still believing—just not God’s truth. We discussed how many of our struggles with faith are actually battles between truth and lies, not faith and doubt.

We also explored how beliefs are formed. Often, a painful experience happens, we assign meaning to it, and that interpretation slowly becomes a belief. Over time, those beliefs shape our emotions, decisions, and expectations. Before we know it, we may be living from a story that God never wrote. The challenge isn’t simply identifying a lie; it’s tracing it back to the wound, disappointment, or misunderstanding that gave it power in the first place.

This week, we encouraged our sisters to ask a different question whenever they feel discouraged, anxious, or stuck: “What am I believing instead?” Because transformation doesn’t begin when circumstances change—it begins when God’s truth replaces the lie we’ve been agreeing with. Through prayer, reflection, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can uncover those hidden beliefs and allow God to rewrite the story.

Special Guest Event Coming June 14

I'm excited to share that on Sunday, June 14, we'll be joined by my friend, life coach, and speaker Arsineo Dodson for a special training event that is open to both our community and the public.

I first met Arsineo during a season when I needed wisdom, perspective, and accountability, and his coaching has had a meaningful impact on my life. He has a unique ability to challenge the way we think, help us identify what's holding us back, and move us toward intentional action.
